TROPICAL STORM GRACE NOW A DEPRESSION

LOCATION: 14.3 degrees north, 47.2 degrees west
DISTANCE: ABOUT 1170 MILES EAST SOUTH-EAST OF THE BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS 
MOVEMENT: WEST 17 MPH 
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS: 30 MPH
MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE: 1007MB
Grace continues moving quickly westward with a poorly organized low-level circulation and sporadic thunderstorm activity. Forecasters expect Grace to be a remnant low in about 24 hours and be an open wave when it crosses the Leeward Islands into the eastern Caribbean Sea early Friday morning. 
At 500 AM, the centre of Tropical Depression Grace was located near latitude 14.3 North, longitude 47.2 West. The depression is moving toward the west near 17 mph, and this general motion is expected to continue during the next 48 hours.
Maximum sustained winds are near 30 mph with higher gusts. 
The estimated minimum central pressure is 1007 mb.
Tropical Storm Grace is located in the mid-Atlantic and at present, is not a threat to the British Virgin Islands.
