WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE BVI

5th November 2018 – The Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Services has indicated that the presence of a mid to upper level trough coupled with available low level moisture and daytime heating will continue to provide unsettled weather conditions over and around the islands during the next 24 hours.

Weather tonight: Mostly cloudy skies with a 70 percent or high chance of showers and a moderate chance of thunderstorms.

Winds: East at 22 to 33 km/h or 12 to 18 knots with higher gusts during showers as well as over open waters..

Seas: Significant wave heights of 1.5 to 2.4 metres or 5 to 8 feet. Small craft advisory remains in effect and sea bathers should exercise caution in waters east of the islands..
