WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE BVI

15th September 2018 – The Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Services has indicated that for the next twenty four hours the BVI will experience a moist and unstable environment.

The Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Services also indicates that the BVI can experience cloudy to partly cloudy skies today with partly cloudy skies tonight.

The met office continues to state that there is high chance of showers today with a moderate chance of thunderstorms this afternoon. Showers are also possible tonight.

Today winds will be from south to south east at 3 to 6 knots and seas with moderate swells of 5 to 6 feet in coastal waters.

Warnings have been lifted for small craft and sea bathers are advised to exercise caution due to large breaking waves and rip currents.
