BEACH SAFETY-RED FLAGS ARE FLYING AT 10 BEACHES

Beach goers are asked to note that due to the north, north east swell, red flags are flying at Smuggler’s Cove, Long Bay (Tortola), Cappoon’s Bay, Brewer’s Bay, Trunk Bay, Rogues Bay, Josiah’s Bay, Lambert Beach, Little Bay & The Baths.  A RED FLAG means Danger-No Swimming.

Please Note: The Baths are still accessible by land, dock at Spanish Town and take a taxi.  For further information call: National Parks Trust 495 5051.

Yellow Flags are flying at Cane Garden Bay & Long Bay (Beef Island).  A YELLOW FLAG means caution should be taken and weak swimmers are discouraged from entering the water.

Lifeguard on Duty at Josiah’s Bay 9am to 4pm
