BVI WEATHER FORECAST— MONDAY MARCH 20, 2017

March 20, 20173087Views

Weak instability associated with a trough will affect the BVI today and tonight. Meanwhile, a slacker pressure gradient will cause lighter winds and gradually subsiding seas over and around the coastal waters of these islands.

Weather Today: Partly cloudy to cloudy with widely scattered showers possible.

Weather Tonight: Partly cloudy to cloudy with a chance of brief isolated showers.

Winds: South east to south-southeast at speeds less than 10 knots becoming variable in some places at times.

Seas: Moderate with waves 4-6ft today. While seas are subsiding, small craft operators should still exercise caution today.

Please note Trunk Bay and Rogues Bay are still red flagged which means sea conditions there are dangerous and as a result no swimming is allowed.

Atmospheric Pressure: Above normal

Sunset today: 6:30 pm.

Sunrise tomorrow: 6:21 am.
