The 11th Caribbean Conference on Comprehensive Disaster Management, which will be presented by Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency and its partners, takes place Dec. 2-6 in Sint Maartin. The theme will be CDM: The Road to Resilience Checkpoint 2019 – Safeguarding Our Communities, Livelihoods and Economies, and organisers are looking for presentations related to the following sub-themes:
- Safeguarding through Stronger Institutions
- Knowledge Management – A Safeguarding Imperative!
- Safeguard our Economies – Build Sector Resilience
- Empowerment and Youth Participation – Essentials for Community and Livelihood
