National Disaster Management Plan
The National Disaster Management Plan is a framework that promotes centralized coordination, control and effective collaboration in preparing for and providing immediate responses to the impact of various hazards. Hazard- and incident-specific action plans are built on this framework, so it is referred to as the Base Plan.
This plan was originally approved by Cabinet in April 2009, and revised in May 2014 and again in December 2016. This version was updated in November 2020.
