Synopsis: A trough will be moving over the BVI early tomorrow and this will heighten the chance of passing showers over these islands during its passage.

Weather tonight: Partly cloudy with a 40 percent or moderate chance of brief early morning showers.

Weather tomorrow: Partly cloudy to cloudy with a 60 percent or moderate chance of brief showers.

Winds: East-northeat at 17 to 30kmh or 10 to 18 mph increasing to 35kmh or 22 mph over coastal waters and elevated terrain. Gusts to 52kmh or 32mph are possible in some showers.

Seas: 1.5 to 2.4 meters or 5 to 8 feet. A small craft advisory remains in effect mainly for the waters on the eastern side of the islands.
