Synopsis: Some moisture and instability associated with the presence of a low to mid level trough will continue to elevate the chances of showers across the islands. There is just a slight chance of thunderstorms development.

Weather tonight: Mostly cloudy with a 70 percent or high chance of showers and a 20 percent or slight chance of thunderstorms.

Weather tomorrow: Mostly cloudy with a 70 percent or high chance of showers.

Winds: East-southeast at 22 to 33 km/h or 14 to 21 mph with gusts peaking to 56 km/h or 35 mph..

Seas: 1.2 to 2.1 metres or 4 to 7 feet. A small craft advisory goes into effect by Friday evening; and this is for the open waters east and north of the islands..
