8TH June 2011 – A broad trough of low pressure will remain over the northeast Caribbean for the next few days before slowly retreating to the north and weaken by weekend.

This evening will be mainly cloudy with scattered showers, therefore a flash flood watch remains in place until six am Thursday morning.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions are favorable for heavy rain across the watch area which may lead to flooding. If you are in the watch area, check your preparedness requirements, keep informed and be ready for quick action if flooding is observed or if a Flash Flood Warning is issued.

The DDM will continue to monitor the weather conditions and advise the public accordingly. Visit the DDM’s website at www.bviddm.com and subscribe to receive updates.
