FLASH FLOOD WATCH ISSUED FOR THE VIRGIN ISLANDS

Synopsis: A low pressure area will continue to influence unstable weather conditions across the region for the next 24 to 36 hours.
Wx: Today: Expect cloudy to overcast skies with showers and possible isolated thunderstorms. Similar conditions are expected to take place tonight into tomorrow morning. Some of the showers could be moderate to heavy at times. A flash flood watch remain in place until 2pm this afternoon.
Winds: E – ESE 8 -16kts.
Seas: Rough swells 1.8 to 2.4m or 6 to 8 ft a small craft warning remains in place for hazardous sea conditions. Sea bathers should also exercise caution.
Barometric pressure: below normal
