FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE VI

Forecast valid until 8AM tomorrow Monday May 16th
2011

Synopsis: A persistent trough will continue to be the
dominant feature that will affect weather conditions over the BVI today,
tonight and into tomorrow.

Wx: Today: Cloudy to overcast
with scattered showers some of which will be heavy and accompanied by thunderstorms
A flash flood watch continues until 4pm today; However residents are advised
that this flash flood watch could be upgraded to a warning at short notice.

 Tonight:
Cloudy with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms possible .

Winds: SE at 6-12kts
becoming lighter or even calm overnight.          

Seas: Moderate with peak Swells of 1.5m or
5ft.

Barometric Pressure: Below normal

Sunset today:  6:45 pm.

Sunrise tomorrow:  5:45 am.

The
