The Government of the Virgin Islands is inviting tenders for weather station and seismic concrete pad civil works.
Procurement Coordinator, Mrs. Ishma Rhymer said the terms of reference of the works include but are not limited to weather station excavation and earthworks, seismic concrete pad excavation and earthworks and chain link fence installation.
Mrs. Rhymer added that eligible bidders will be required to submit full qualification information with their bids establishing their eligibility to bid and qualification to perform the contract if the bid is accepted.
The Procurement Coordinator said the complete set of bidding documents will be made available electronically upon request to [email protected] with the subject title “Request for Bid Documents for Weather Station and Seismic Concrete Pad Civil Works in BVI– Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Loan – Hurricane Irma”. The documents will be sent via email.
Mrs. Rymer said that in accordance with the instruction of the bidding document, four (4) hard copies of Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes, with the name and address of the bidder, and be clearly marked “Weather Station and Seismic Concrete Pad Civil Works in BVI– Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Loan – Hurricane Irma.” The sealed envelope must be addressed to Procurement Coordinator, Ministry of Finance, Qwomar Building #2, Road Town, Tortola VG1110, British Virgin Islands and must be delivered no later than 10:00 a.m. on May 14. Bid opening will take place immediately after the deadline for submission. All Tenderers are invited to attend.
