TROPICAL WAVE GRADUALLY MOVING AWAY

TROPICAL WAVE GRADUALLY MOVING AWAY

July 23, 20171878Views

As the tropical wave continues to move farther away, a drier mass will encompass the forecast area resulting in an improvement of the local weather conditions today into Monday morning. However, passing showers may occur throughout the day as a result of lingering low-level moisture across the region.

A relatively dry and stable air mass associated with a ridge of high pressure will continue to linger across the area over the next few days. A moderate to fresh trade wind flow associated with this ridge could occasionally transport shallow pockets of low level moisture across the islands, resulting in periods of passing showers mainly during the overnight & early morning hours. An increase in cloudiness and shower activity can be expected Tuesday night into Wednesday as a tropical wave moves through the area during that time.
