TROPICAL WAVE IN THE EASTERN ATLANTIC DECREASES IN STRENGTH

The Tropical Wave (Invest 94L), being monitored by the Department of Disaster Management is becoming less organised and development chances are decreasing.
At 8:00 a.m., Tropical Wave (Invest 94L) was located near 12.6 degrees North, 30.7 degrees West. The system is moving to the west-northwest at nine miles per hour.
Conditions in its path are not favourable for strengthening. However, there is still a 20 percent chance it could become a depression over the next day or two. If it does strengthen, it would likely weaken to a remnant low before affecting any land areas.
The DDM will continue to monitor the disturbance and provide updates as they become available.
