July 29, 20161693Views

The Local Weather Forecast valid up to 8 pm tomorrow Saturday 30th July 2016.

A tropical wave approaching the islands from the east is expected to interact with an upper level trough just west of the islands, thus greatly increasing the chances for increased cloudiness and significant shower activity across the island by tomorrow.

Skies will be fair to partly cloudy in general tonight with very little shower activity, with some increased cloudiness by late tomorrow morning with periods of widely scattered showers developing. Some showers could be moderate to locally heavy by tomorrow evening accompanied by possible isolated thunderstorms.

Winds: ENE at 14-22kts (26-41km/h) gusting to 26kts (48km/h) during heavier showers..

Seas: Moderate to locally rough, swells 1.8-2.4m or 6-8ft. Warnings are now in place for small craft operators and sea bathers against rough sea conditions..

Atmospheric Pressure: Just below normal.

Sunrise tomorrow: 5:56 am.

Sunset tomorrow: 6:54 pm.

FOUR DAY FORECAST
Unsettled weather conditions are expected to move into the area over the weekend as a tropical wave moving in from the east becomes enhanced by an upper level trough located just to the west of the islands.

Therefore, we can expect mostly cloudy to overcast skies with periods of scattered showers, some of which could be moderate to heavy at times, accompanied by isolated thunderstorms mainly from Saturday into Sunday morning.
