UNSTABLE WEATHER CONDITIONS AFFECTING THE BVI…WARNING IN EFFECT FOR SMALL CRAFT OPERATORS AND SEA BATHERS

Synopsis: A moderate to fresh trade wind flow, generated by a ridge of high pressure could transport shallow pockets of low level moisture across the islands at times during the next 24 hours. Meanwhile a frontal trough will cause unsettled weather conditions to linger across the BVI during that time.

Wx: Mostly cloudy skies tonight and tomorrow with a high chance of some more scattered showers, some of which could be moderate to locally heavy at times, accompanied by isolated thunderstorms..

Winds: ESE at 10-16kts..

Seas: Moderate to locally rough, swells 1.8-2.4m or 6-8ft. A warning remains in place for small craft operators and sea bathers against rough sea conditions..

Atmospheric Pressure: Near normal.

Sunrise tomorrow:  6:32 am.

Sunset tomorrow:  5:41 pm.
