UNSTABLE WEATHER CONDITIONS AFFECTING THE TERRITORY

Synopsis: A broad upper level low centred north of Puerto Rico and its associated trough system continues to cause unstable condition across the Eastern Caribbean. Meanwhile a tropical wave is moving westward across the northeast Caribbean. The combine systems will continue to cause cloudy skies with occasional showers and rain. There is also the chance of isolated thunderstorms.
Wx: Today: Cloudy becoming overcast at times with occasional showers and rain. There is also the chance of isolated thunderstorms.
Tonight: Cloudy skies becoming overcast at times with occasional showers and rain.
Winds: ESE at 10-16kts on land with higher gusts near showers and reaching near 20kts over open waters…
Seas: Moderate to locally rough with wave heights 1.8-2.1m or 6-7ft. A small craft advisory is in effect.
Atmospheric Pressure: near normal
