The Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Services has indicated that a flash flood watch or warning may be issued later this evening as heavy shower activity is forecast for this evening into tonight.

Moisture and instability associated with a vigorous tropical wave will continue to linger across the area overnight, with gradual improvements into tomorrow morning and beyond.

Mostly cloudy skies are expected tonight into early tomorrow with periods of moderate to heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms developing, becoming partly cloudy in general later tomorrow with some brief passing showers likely. As a result, a flash flood watch or warning may become necessary across the BVI later this evening into tonight as we anticipate some heavier shower activity across that area during that time.
