UPDATED EVENING FORECAST FOR THE VI

Synopsis: A deep layered low pressure area will move sufficiently far away from the BVI tonight and this, along with a reduction in moisture will reduce the chance of showers tonight. However a moderate to fresh windflow is expected to return over these islands later tonight and tomorrow and this along with an increase in moisture levels will increase the chance of showers around these islands at that time

Tonight: Partly cloudy to locally cloudy with brief passing overnight showers

Tomorrow: Partly cloudy to cloudy with scattered showers

Winds: ENE at 6-12kts or 11-22km/h with lighter spell tonight but increasing by tomorrow afternoon with higher gust in some showers.

Seas: Moderate: Heights not exceeding 1.8m or 6ft: Small craft operators and sea bathers should continue to exercise caution.

Atmospheric Pressure: Well below normal
