5th January 2018 – Synopsis: Shallow moisture and weak instability associated with a weak low-level trough embedded in a broad area of high pressure will heighten the chance of some brief showers across the Islands.

Wx: 

Today: Partly sunny to cloudy with a moderate or 50 percent chance of showers.

Tonight: Partly cloudy to cloudy with a moderate or 50 percent chance of showers.

Winds: ESE at 19-28 km/h or 10-15kts over land and increasing to near 31 km/h or 17kts over coastal waters.

Seas: Moderate to Locally rough waves/swells 1.5-2.4m or 5-8ft. Small craft operators should continue to exercise caution and a warning is in effect for sea bathers against dangerous swells breaking on the coasts of the islands.
