WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE BVI

November 2nd 2018 – The Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Services has indicated that a weak moisture line extending from a frontal system across the area along with an upper level trough will maintain an unstable atmosphere and, by extension, a high chance of showers over and around the islands during the next 24 hours.

Weather tonight: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with a 70 percent or high chance of showers. There’s also a slight chance of an isolated thunderstorm developing.

Weather tomorrow: Partly cloudy skies with periods of increased cloudiness with a 70 percent or high chance of showers and a moderate chance of thunderstorms.

Winds: East-northeast at 22 to 33 km/h or 12 to 18 knots with higher gusts over open waters as well as during showers..

Seas: Moderate to rough with significant wave heights of 1.8 to 2.4 metres or 6 to 8 feet. A small craft advisory is now in effect..

Sunrise tomorrow:  6:18 am.

Sunset tomorrow:  5:46 pm.
