WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE BVI

6th November 2018 – The Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Services has indicated that a moist and unstable surface to low level trough interacting with a mid to upper level trough will produce some unsettled weather across the islands over the next 24 hours. Possible rainfall total for the forecast period is 10 to 20 mm or 0.40 to 0.80 inch.

Weather today: Partly cloudy to cloudy with periodic showers and a moderate chance of thunderstorms.

Weather tonight: Mostly cloudy with periodic showers and a moderate chance of thunderstorms.

Winds: East-northeast to east southeast and will range between 15 to 28 km/h or 8 to 15 knots.

Seas: 1.2 to 1.8 metres or 4 to 6 feet. A caution for small craft operators is in effect.

Sunrise tomorrow:  6:20 am.
