WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE BVI

Forecast valid up to 8 AM tomorrow Friday 12th February 2016.

Synopsis: A weak trough embedded within a moderate trade wind flow will move across the area later today into tonight and increase the chances for shower activity during that time.

Wx: Partly sunny skies initially with a few quick passing showers, with increased cloudiness later today into tonight with periods of widely scattered showers developing.

Winds: E-ESE at 10-16kts with higher gusts during heavier showers..

Seas: Moderate to rough, swells 1.8-2.4m or 6-8ft. A warning is in place for small craft operators and sea bathers against rough sea conditions..

Atmospheric Pressure: Well above normal.

Sunset today:  6:17 pm.

Sunrise tomorrow:  6:47 am.
