The inclement (rainy) weather across the BVI today has resulted in flooding in some parts of Anegada.

The BVI can expect cloudy skies with periods of widely scattered showers for the rest of the day and into tonight.

Here’s the forecast valid up to 8a.m. tomorrow, Sunday April 24th, 2016:

Synopsis: As a high pressure ridge gradually pushes into the area, the atmosphere will become relatively drier and more stable today and tonight. Meanwhile moisture and instability associated with a weak trough will continue to linger across the BVI.

Weather: Mostly cloudy skies today and tonight with periods of widely scattered showers developing.

Winds: SE at 10-16kts (19-30km/h)..

Seas: Moderate to locally rough, swells 1.5-2.1m or 5-7ft. Small craft operators and sea bathers should continue to exercise caution..

Atmospheric Pressure: Normal.

Sunset today: 6:38 pm.

Sunrise tomorrow: 5:55 am.
