Hazy skies with passing showers are expected across the waters, with some affecting the local islands on occasion. Moisture will increase late tonight into Tuesday as a tropical wave moves across the local islands. Therefore, showers and thunderstorms with heavy rainfall and gusty winds are possible.

Across the local waters, winds of 15 to 20 knots and seas of 4 to 6 feet, are expected today. Seas will increase as the tropical wave approaches from the east. Therefore, Small Craft Advisories will be in effect beginning this afternoon due to seas up to 7 feet.
