WHAT: Excessive heat with heat indices of a real feel of 94-100 degrees expected with a 70 – 75 % Humidity
IMPACTS:High temperatures and humidity may cause heat illnesses to occur. Heat exhaustion likely with prolonged exposure. Heat stroke possible.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS: A Heat Advisory means that a period of hot temperatures is expected. The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity will combine to create a situation in which heat illnesses are possible.
