WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE BVI

Synopsis: A trough of low pressure is approaching the area.  This along with an increase in moisture will generate a moderate chance of cloudiness and showers across the Islands over the next twenty four hours. Meanwhile a tropical wave with axis currently along 53 West will enter the region on Monday to further enhance cloudiness and showers. Still further, a second tropical wave is expected to trigger a high chance of showers for the Islands late Wednesday. The rainfall accumulation for the entire period could exceed 15 mm in total.
