Synopsis: According to the Antigua Met Service a tropical wave will cause unsettled weather across the area over the next 24 hours. Up to 13 mm or half inch of rainfall is possible in some areas.
Today: Mostly cloudy with brief showers likely and a slight chance of thunderstorms, mainly this afternoon. Chance of showers is 60%; chance of thunderstorms is 20%.
Tonight: Cloudy with showers likely and a moderate chance of thunderstorms. Chance of showers is 70%; chance of thunderstorms is 40%.
Winds: The wind will be east to east-southeast at 12 to 18 knots over land and 15 to 22 knots over open waters, exposed coastal areas and elevated terrains. Gusts to near 30 knots are likely mainly in showers.
Seas: The seas will be locally rough with peak waves of 2.1 metres or 7 feet. Warnings and cautions remain in effect for small craft operators and sea bathers respectively.
Barometric Pressure: The atmospheric pressure is near normal.
