WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE VI

Synopsis: Moisture from a
tropical wave will linger some more across the British Virgin Islands today and
hence the chance of showers and even thunderstorms will remain high. However,
by tonight, moisture will subside across the islands as the tropical waves
moves further west away from the area.

 

Wx:

 

Today: Cloudy to overcast with
scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms.

 

Tonight: Partly cloudy with
widely scattered showers.

 

Winds: Easterly at 12-18kts
over land and peaking to near 20kts over open waters. Some gusts in showers are
also likely..

 

Seas: Moderate to locally
rough waves/swells 1.5-2.1m or 5-7ft. A small craft warning remains in effect
mainly for the waters east and north of the British Virgin Islands..

 

Barometric Pressure: Below
normal

 

Sunset today:  6:59 pm.
