ANTIGUA MET SERVICE FORECAST SYNOPSIS FOR THE VI

Four Day Forecast Synopsis: The northern and
weaker of a tropical wave along with an upper level trough over the
Northeastern Caribbean will heighten the chance of showers over the Leeward
Islands tonight
and
tomorrow morning. On Saturday, a second tropical wave will move west in the vicinity of
the islands and hence, the chance of
showers will remain high. However, on Sunday and Monday, anticyclone bringing dry air into the region will
restrict significant shower
activity.

Synopsis: A weak low to
mid-level trough will maintain weak instability over the Leeward Islands and

showers over these islands on occasions. By tonight, a weak tropical wave is
expected to increase shower activity over the Leewards
