WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE VI

Synopsis: Notwithstanding the presence of a tropical wave and an upper level trough system, shower activity will remain minimal due mainly to low level divergence from a ridge of high pressure developing across the area over the next 24 hours however, Isolated Thunderstorms  are possible  during the next hour or so. Moderate to heavy rain…and dangerous lightning are possible. Ponding of water on roadways and low lying areas is possible during the next few hours as these showers decrease in intensity.
