Synopsis: According to the Antigua Met Service, for the next 24hrs, the axis of a tropical wave will cross the Leeward Islands later this evening. After its passage, a drier atmosphere is expected to move in from the east. Meanwhile, the wave is likely to be in the vicinity of the BVI later tonight and will provide an increase clouds and showers. Brighter conditions are expected over islands by tomorrow.
Wx: Skies tonight will be partly cloudy to cloudy with scattered showers. Tomorrow will be sunny to partly sunny with isolated brief showers.
Winds: ENE-E at 8-15 kt, 15-28 km/h.
Seas: Moderate with waves 1.5-1.8m/5-6ft. Small craft operators should exercise caution.
