Synopsis: Moisture and instability associated with a tropical wave will likely generate some showers across the area. Possible rainfall accumulations 6 to 25 mm or 0.25 to 1 inch.

Weather today: Cloudy with showers and a 40 percent or a moderate chance of thunderstorms.

Weather tonight: Partly cloudy with a 60 percent or a moderate chance of showers.

Winds: East at 15 to 30 mph or 9 to 18 mph, winds can get as high as 48 km/h or 30 mph.

Seas: 1.5 to 2.1 metres or 5 to 7 feet, small craft operators should exercise caution.
