Weather forecasters at the Antigua Meteorological Office have stated that despite the presence of considerable cloud cover the lower levels of the atmosphere remain rather dry and hazy across the BVI.
The latest satellite imagery shows that unstable weather is very much present across the north eastern Caribbean with mostly mid to upper level clouds at this time.
The four day forecast for the BVI states that a dry and stable air mass will continue to linger across the area over the next 24-48hours, resulting in generally dry, sunny and hazy conditions with little shower activity. However, by Friday into Saturday a weak frontal trough will introduce some instability into the atmosphere across the area and increase the chances for cloudiness and shower activity during that time.
