ALERT INFORMATION STATEMENT ISSUED FOR THE BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS

Tropical Cyclone Information Statement
Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Services

This is for the Leeward Islands and British Virgin Islands

Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Services is following the progress of tropical disturbance 92l located about 750 miles east of the Leeward Islands and about 970 miles east-northeast of the British Virgin Islands.

The Disturbance is moving toward the west-northwest at 20 mph and this motion is expected to continue for the next few days.

On this track, Disturbance 92l could pass uncomfortably close to Antigua and Barbuda and the rest of the northeast Caribbean Saturday night/Sunday, as a tropical depression or storm. Hence, residents need to monitor this system very closely, until it has cleared the area.
