Synopsis: The movement of Hurricane Lee away from the area will continue to encourage a southerly windflow across the area during the next 24 hours. This flow, coupled with daytime heating, available moisture and instability could tirgger some localized shower activity over and around the islands during that time.
Weather tonight: Fair to partly cloudy skies with a 20 percent or slight chance of a brief passing overnight shower.
Weather tomorrow: Partly sunny skies, with brief cloudy spells and periods of brief localized showers, some of which could be moderate to locally heavy in some places.
Winds: Southwest at 15 to 26 km/h or 9 to 16 mph with lighter spells overnight..
Seas: Northerly swells reaching 2.1 to 3.1 metres or 7 to 10 feet. Therefore a high surf warning remains in place mainly for the north and eastern coastlines of the islands..
