Synopsis: A frontal trough near the Northeast Caribbean will continue to heighten the chances of showers across the island. Possible rainfall total for the forecast period is 19 to 40 mm or 0.75 to 1.50 inches.

Weather tonight: Cloudy with showers and a 40 percent or moderate chance of thunderstorms.

Weather tomorrow: Cloudy with showers and a 40 percent or moderate chance of thunderstorms.

Winds: Mostly light and variable tonight. Tomorrow, east-southeast at 6 to 19 km/h or 3 to 12 mph..

Seas: 1 to 1.8 meters or 3 to 6 feet with northerly swells of 1.5 meters or 5 feet. A high surf advisory is in effect.
