At 500 pm according to the National Hurricane Centre, the center of Tropical Storm Florence was located near latitude 15.6 North, longitude 29.0 West.
Florence is moving toward the west-northwest near 16 mph and this general motion is expected to continue through Tuesday.
Maximum sustained winds are near 45 mph with higher gusts. Some slight strengthening is forecast during the next few days. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 45 miles from the center.
The estimated minimum central pressure is 1002 mb (29.59 inches).
This will be the final advisory issued by the DDM on Florence unless there is significant change and the system becomes a threat to the territory. The DDM will continue to monitor this system and any new developments moving of the African Coast and provide updates accordingly.
