UNSTABLE WEATHER CONDITIONS LIKELY TO AFFECT BVI THIS WEEK

Weather Synopsis: A tropical wave interacting with a deep layer trough will continue to generate some unstable conditions across the area. Cloudy spells and periodic showers are expected through tomorrow mainly before midday and mainly across the Leeward Islands. Starting late Thursday, low level convergence will result in cloudy skies, showers and a moderate chance of thunderstorms across the area; some of these showers are likely to be heavy; at least, minor flooding is possible.

Winds: Mainly easterly at 6 to 14 knots.

Seas: Moderate with heights not exceeding  6 feet. Beachgoers should exercise caution, mainly on the Atlantic side of the islands.
