WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE BVI

2ND January 2019 – The Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Services has indicated a moisture line associated with a frontal system in the vicinity of the forecast area is expected to trigger some shower activity over the islands and coastal waters.

Weather today: Occasionally cloudy with a 60 percent or moderate chance of showers.

Weather tonight: Partly cloudy to cloudy with a 40 percent or moderate chance of showers.

Winds: East at 19 to 30 km/h or 10 to 16 knots.

Seas: 1.5 to 2.1 metres or 5 to 7 ft. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.

Sunset today:  5:54 pm.

Sunrise tomorrow:  6:51 am.
