Synopsis: A slow moving frontal boundary is expected to sweep across portions of the northern Leeward and BVI during the next 24 hours, thus maintaining a moderate chance for shower activity over and around these islands during that time.

Weather today: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with a 60 percent or moderate chance of showers.

Weather tonight: Partly cloudy skies with a 50 percent or moderate chance of showers mainly before midnight.

Winds: Northeast at 15 to 28 km/h or 9 to 17 mph with lighter spells overnight.

Seas: 1.8 to 2.4 meters or 6 to 8 feet with northerly swells of 1.8 meters or 6 feet. A high surf advisory is in effect mainly for the north and eastern coastlines of the islands.
