20th December 2017 – Synopsis: A high pressure system will continue to be the dominant feature across area keeping the atmosphere relatively dry and stable. However, brief interruptions of odd showers are possible as shallow pockets of moisture caught in the trade wind flow traverse the area.

Weather today: Partly sunny with a 10 percent or slight chance of showers.

Weather tonight: Fair to partly cloudy with a 30 percent or low chance of showers.

Winds: East-northeasterly ranging between 13 to 26 km/h or 7 to 14 knots with higher gusts over open waters.

Seas: Moderate with wave heights 1.2 to 1.8 meters or 4 to 6 feet and occasionally reaching 2.1 meters or 7 feet. Cautions remain in effect for small craft operators and beachgoers particularly on the Atlantic side of the islands.
