Synopsis: A weak moisture boundary aided by a moderate to fresh breeze, will generate conditions that are conducive to the formation of brief showers this morning.

Weather today: Variably cloudy skies with a 60 percent or moderate chance of brief morning showers with a gradual reduction in the chance of showers by this afternoon

Weather tonight: Partly cloudy with a 40 percent or moderate chance of passing overnight showers.

Winds: East at 19 to 35 km/h or 12 to 22 mph with possible higher gust to 52 km/h or 32 mph over elevated terrain and in some showers.

Seas: 2.1 to 2.9 meters or 7 to 9 feet in the waters east of the islands; A small craft advisory remains in effect and a high surf advisory will likely go into effect this afternoon.
