The British Virgin Islands is experiencing the effects of a Tropical Wave and mid upper level trough. These features are creating thunderstorms, lightening and heavy showers. These conditions are expected to last on and off to 10 pm tonight with gradual improvement as the axis of the wave move away. There is the potential for flooding of roads and some low lying areas.
Residents and visitors are asked to exercise caution on roadways. No advisories have been issued by the Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Service however, the DDM will continue to monitor the conditions and provide updates as more information becomes available.
