Synopsis: A ridge of high pressure will keep the atmosphere
across the area relatively dry and stable for today into tonight. By later
tonight and tomorrow, a tropical wave will gradually move into the area and
increase the instability in the atmosphere.
Wx: Skies will be generally fair to partly cloudy today and
early tonight with a few isolated showers. By later tonight and early tomorrow,
skies will become increasingly cloudy with scattered showers and a slight
chance of a few isolated thunderstorms developing. Some showers could be
locally heavy at times.
Winds: ENE at 12-18kts, with higher gusts in heavier showers.
Seas: Slight to moderate, peaking at 1.4m or 4ft today becoming
moderate to locally rough later tonight, swells 1.5-2.4m or 5-8ft. A warning is
now in place for both small craft operators and sea bathers against adverse sea
conditions.
Barometric Pressure: Well below normal.
Sunset today: 6:45 pm.
Sunrise tomorrow: 6:01 am.
