Thursday 25th October 2012 – The Department of Disaster Management, in collaboration with The BVI Red Cross is informing the public that they will be conducting a one-day refresher training course in Basic First Aid for Teachers on Saturday, 24th November, 2012.
The purpose of the training is to equip teachers from the pre-primary to the secondary level with the critical knowledge and the confidence to effectively manage an emergency without fear or confusion.
The training will be held at the BVI Red Cross Building from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm. The session is free, however a $25 cost will be charged for the First Aid manual.
