The Department of Disaster Management is monitoring updates from the UWI Seismic Research Centre regarding activity at the Kick ‘Em Jenny undersea volcano. Located 8 kilometres north of Grenada, the volcano is at alert level yellow, which means an elevation of earthquake or steam vent activity has been observed.

Kick ‘Em Jenny does not pose a threat at this time, but we will be following closely and sharing additional information if and when the situation changes.
