Synopsis: As Hurricane Tammy approaches the islands, tropical storm conditions are likely over the weekend. Rainfall may total up to 4 inches for the British Virgin Islands.

Weather tonight: Cloudy Skies wit a 40 percent or moderate chance of showers.

Weather tomorrow: Cloudy skies with a 40 percent or moderate chance of showers.

Winds: Northeast at 28 to 37 km/h or 17 to 23 mph.

Seas: 1.8 to 2.4 meters or 6 to 8 feet. Therefore a small craft and high surf advisory remain in effect.

Sunrise tomorrow: 6:13 am.
