WEATHER FORECAST FOR MAY 28

May 28, 20051601Views

An upper level trough will continue to bring a lot of
high level and layered type clouds over the Northeastern Caribbean for most of
the day. However, a high pressure ridge at the lower levels of the atmosphere restricted
shower activity this morning but, later this afternoon and tonight, some low
level moisture moving into the islands could increase the chance of some
passing showers.

The forecast from the
Antigua/Barbuda Meteorological Services states that today’s weather is expected
to be c
loudy with just a light
shower possible during the morning, however, later this afternoon, there is a
good chance of some passing showers.

Tonight, the weather is
expected to be cloudy to overcast with a good chance of some more passing
showers.

Winds
are
 Easterly at 8-13
knots over land and peaking near 15 knots over coastal waters.

Seas are slight to
moderate with wave heights of 4-5 feet.

Barometric pressure is above normal and sunset today will be at 6:50 p.m.
